Please add option to insert hyperlink and qr code in the invite section

I tried typing a link into the text instead of a QR code. It won't recognize it as a hyperlink. is there any way to make it a link?

I'd like to put in a QR code in the invite information since the recipients wants donations for a scholarship and not a gift card. When I try to paste the QR code in, nothing happens.
